Fior di Latten from Ruocco, made in the well-known area of Agerola, is simply one of the best in the world. It's not just us saying this, but this mozzarella is widely recognized as such and is used by many of the most prestigious pizzeries in Naples. It took some time to sort out freezing and such, but now we can finally sell it.
We exclusively use this Fior di Latten for our Margheritas, because it's simply the best. You don't have to be a pro to taste the difference between another Fior di Latte and this one: The taste is very prominent, and it has a fresh, milky aroma.
If you've only ever eaten boring cheese from Swedish grocery stores, you're in for a real surprise when you try such a flavorful Fior di Latte like this one. Sure, it costs a little more than other cheese, but what the heck, sometimes you have to live a little.
NOTE: The cheese is delivered frozen, and when it arrives, you should drain the water and keep it in the fridge. It's more sensitive than the Fior di Latten from Sorrentina, so it should be used a few days after you get it.
