Mascarpone is a creamy Italian fresh cheese often found in various pastries like tiramisu and cheesecakes. We use it ourselves along with Nutella on our dessert pizza at the restaurant, and if you've tried it, you know how good it is :)
This particular one comes from Latteria Sorrentina, from whom we also buy our Fior di Latte. They are really skilled and this mascarpone is among the best we've tried (that's frozen). It's mild, creamy, and simply tastes right. No complaints.
NOTE: The mascarpone is delivered frozen, and when you get it, you should put it in the fridge - it lasts about 10 days there. However, it's not always frozen in the summer. It might be possible to freeze it again, but we can't recommend that.
