Truffle oil "Tartufo Nero" - Fam

This is a little controversial with truffle oil. First, we can state that truffle oil can never contain real truffles as truffles are not oil-soluble. When we started the pizzeria, of course we didn't know everything about this and on our mushroom pizza we mix our usual olive oil with 20% of this truffle oil. It doesn't give super much flavor but a little touch. This is not something we can change because then regulars would go crazy. Our mushroom pizza is by far our most popular pizza even though it contains something as controversial according to chefs as truffle oil. However, we have chosen to ignore the controversy and carry on as usual. We also strongly believe that many dishes that are labeled with real truffles also contain this type of flavoring, even if they don't say so. That's our scouting.

In any case, you should have truffle oil, we like this one. We have tried our way, of course.
