We have made it work perfectly for smashburgers in addition to pizza and bread. Stainless ss430 where the meat is sucked in.

There is a drip tray that you can scrape grease into so you have a clean surface when you smash. No more grease dripping into the grill and starting to burn.

Beveled bottom edge so easy to lift from flat surfaces, such as glass tops.
